This class is designed for current Moldflow Plastics Advisers 8.1 users who would like to learn more about the product and for new users with little experience.

The discussion will cover:

• An introduction to the different analysis possible with Dual Domain and 3D technology Principles
  - Emphasis on the work flow and usage of analysis to optimize part and mold designs taking into account design cost changes
• A Review of creating single and multi-cavity molds
• Review of runner design optimization tools
• Discussion on product modeling tools and techniques for:
  - Complex runner and cooling circuits layouts modeling
  - Creation of custom databases for runner and cooling circuits layouts
  - Material Database setup options
• Review of the new report generator capabilities
• Model Input and demos of Moldflow STL Expert and Moldflow CAD Doctor
• Customizing user interface for efficient workflow

Pre-class Review:
Students will review recordings on theory basics before attending the course, the chapters cover:

• Thermoplastics overview
• Injection Molding overview
• Finite Element overview
• Moldflow Design Principles

By the end of the 2-day course, students will have a more complete understanding of the capabilities of the Moldflow Mold Adviser product.
