To improve response time, please have the following information available when you contact us:
  • Is it a NEW CASE? If not, specify the case ID number.
  • What Moldflow software is being used, and which release?
  • What hardware platform and operating system are being used?

As an additional resource, Moldflow also provides a Moldflow Community Center (MCC) , where commonly encountered issues and the latest news about our products are posted.

In the case of hardware problems (where the equipment is non-functional or damaged) contact Moldflow for an official Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) number. The RMA will include details on where to ship the equipment for repair or replacement.

Procedure for obtaining an RMA number:

When in the field and requiring urgent support:

  • Call the MMS Support line (1-800-284-3569) with all related details about the failure. A support technician will explore all possible troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures before issuing an RMA.
  • Please have your support ID and all serial numbers available before making the call as these may be requested.

When sufficient time is available to log a request through proper support channels:

  • Email your request to ‘support@moldflow.com’.
  • Please include a complete description of the failure. A new support case will be opened and a corresponding RMA number will be issued if necessary.
  • For the fastest response time, please include the serial numbers of the equipment in the support request.

Do not ship equipment without an RMA number!
