sessions delivered by Moldflow Engineers at no additional cost. Most training
sessions will offer both lecture and hands-on computer lab training exercises
for participants to practice what they have learned. Products and topics covered
include:
-
Matching an Actual Molding Process with MPI Simulation
- Learn a comprehensive systematic approach
to eliminate errors when comparing simulation to molding
practice.
-
Core Shift Analysis in MPI - Learn the
benefits of performing a core shift analysis, which provides
detailed information on the movement of a mold core during
the injection molding cycle.
-
Two-shot Sequential Overmolding - Learn
the simulation capabilities when one plastic part is molded
over another part that was made in the same tool.
-
Insert Overmolding - Learn the simulation
capabilities when a plastic part is molded over a plastic
or metal insert in the same tool.
-
MPI/Warp
Visualization & Interpretation -
Learn new ways of how to manipulate deflection results
to identify its magnitud, causes of warpage and how to
improve or eliminate it.
-
Application Programming Interface (API) –An
introduction to the powerful API which allows you to
automate every day tasks and operations within Moldflow
Plastics
Insight.
-
What's New in MPI 6.2 - The new features
and key enhancements of Moldflow Plastics Insight 6.2 will
be reviewed.
-
Advanced
Users MPI Tips & Tricks –This
interactive session is geared towards advanced users
who would like to discuss MPI tips & tricks.
Participants are encouraged to bring problems for
discussion.
-
MPI/3D Gas Assisted Injection Molding -
This session will highlight the benefits of using a 3D
mesh type to simulate the gas assisted injection molding
process.
-
Interfaces to Structural FEA Software -
Learn how Moldflow products, including Moldflow Structural
Alliance, can be used to improve solution accuracy in other
commercially available Structural Finite Element Analysis
software packages such as ANSYS, ABAQUS and LS-DYNA.
