Werkzeug
The Werkzeug facilitates collaboration and monitoring
of Moldflow Part Adviser™ and Moldflow Mold Adviser™
analysis results by a plastics simulation expert or consultant,
usually someone within the user's organization, whom the user specifies.
This powerful tool is simple to set up and operate. The user specifies
the e-mail address of the expert/consultant inside the software.
The consultant can be notified via e-mail either manually or automatically
when a specific issue arises.
- In manual mode, the MPA user initiates the call to the consultant
and can choose to provide the model and/or a report to the consultant.
- In automatic mode, the consultant can set up criteria that will
trigger the automatic notification of a problem. Criteria can
be specific to the current model or based on historical trends
in results. The latter option allows potential problems to be
detected even before they arise.
The Werkzeug allows the designated consultant
to assist the MPA user with result interpretation, problem troubleshooting,
alternative design suggestions, and improving the user's overall
comprehension of the software.
The Werkzeug allows MPA users to specify the
e-mail address of an expert or consultant within their organization
to assist with result interpretation or troubleshooting. Model-specific
criteria or historical trends may be identified to trigger automatic
notification.
When the Werkzeug is in manual mode, the MPA
user initiates the e-mail to the specified consultant.
